Chef Gaston

With over 25 years as an accomplished and awarding winning chef, Chef Gaston and his culinary team will cater your event which will be impressive and successful with your clients or guests. Gaston is a former instructor of culinary arts at MTI, in which some of the students he helped train have won state and national culinary competitions. He is past owner of two restaurants and two catering businesses-- one of which was Hors D’Oeuvres Plus in Sarasota that shipped hors d’oeuvres nationwide. He has worked for great companies such as Universal Studios Florida, Eurest and Marriott. His training has been through several schools including U.S. Coast Guard Military School of Culinary Arts, Port Huron Community College (Advance Gourmet Cooking), continuing education seminars from the Culinary Institute of America, and working with famous Chef Steve Jason and Chef Bruce Powers.
Gaston has written for the Restaurant Profitability Magazine, Sam's Club Restaurant Foodservice Magazine and Knight Ridder Newspaper. In addition to print media, Gaston has appeared on ABC and CTN television networks. He is also a Certified Food Safety Manager Instructor/Test Administrator and Certified HACCP. Gaston is very diverse in cooking including Greek, German, Cajun, Italian, Chinese, Caribbean, Thai, French, Pastries and Desserts; however, artistic palate pleasing Hors D’Oeuvres is his passion in culinary.
